- First, I do a quick sketch.
- Then I put the colours! I separate the shapes in different layers. It can be a mess sometimes so I name every layers like “Skin”, “Hair” or “Pants” and then it’s fine! It’s really pratical if you want to change a colour without affecting the others.
- I add the lines in an another layer. I always draw lines after the colours. Not really logical but that’s how I work! I’ve never been good with lineart..
- I add some details like some blush on the cheeks or colour on the lips.
- I add some textures and filters. I play a lot with Photoshop adjustments too. And Voilà!

Colouring is not easy. I always sucked at it. I tried so many methods and styles. I feel quite at ease with this one but I’ll never be really satisfied…
The best advice that I could give is to look at some tutorials and arts by talented artists. Or try to think by yourself how they’ve done it and practice!! Yeah, practice! \o/
